24 Hour – 365 Days Per Year Emergency Response & Same Day Site Attendance.

Many companies claim to have 24-hour services but this is not always the case. What you will actually find is that the telephone may be answered at most times but site attendances by an actual engineer will not be until the next day or sometimes even later. Some companies will send a tanker out of hours to empty the pump chamber, charge you for that and then send an engineer which incurs higher costs to you.

NOT WITH US. Call us anytime, day, night, Christmas, whenever you need help. The telephone will be answered by one of our team, not a call centre and if needed, an engineer dispatched.

More often than not, most pumping stations or water boosters can be repaired, even temporarily, without additional equipment being sent to site. This inevitably keeps costs to a minimum. If you need us quickly, especially out of hours, please phone through your problem for an instant response. If you do get an answer phone message during busy times, please leave your details and we will call you back immediately. We are happy to respond to emails but these tend to be  dealt with during office hours. Service contract customers always take priority over others but we will always do our best to get to you in a timely manner. We do ask that general enquiries wait until office hours to allow the lines to remain free for those who may need our help urgently.
Temporary loan pumps and over-pumping.

Should the worst happen and your equipment completely gives up the ghost what do you do? Well, you could call in tankers to keep pump chamber levels down to a minimum until your equipment is repaired or replaced but that is far too expensive for more than a couple of days at the most. In the case of water boosters do you issue bottled water? again, troublesome and expensive. Here at Gemtech, we look at all options before costs get out of control. You may have another pumping station for example that has similar pumps in it that we can temporarily transplant one of them into the station that has failed (most pumping stations only run one pump at a time) to get you operational again, alternatively, we do keep, in stock, a range of pumps that we can install to most systems to get them up and running again within hours. This may take the form of simply replacing a pump within a chamber (by matching the discharge connections) or we ‘over-pump’ the system, bypassing the original equipment until it is operational again. In any case, this is far more cost effective and often less intrusive. We usually charge a small fee for the hire of the equipment but this is assessed on a case by case basis dependant on circumstance and/or service agreement type.
