We always aim to offer the very best service in our field. We never settle for second best and always have your satisfaction as our top priority. It’s who we are and we are proud of it. 

Who We Are:

Formed in 2004 as GEM Engineering Services, Gemtech (East Anglia) Ltd. is a wholly owned and run family business. GEM Engineering Services was re-branded as Gemtech in 2020 after the acquisition of another company.
Our founders are former employees of a large independent pump company, deciding to leave that organisation due to it being sold, which, unfortunately, removed the emphasis on the level of customer service that once was.
Our founders alone have a combined wastewater and pump industry background totalling over 50 years, one of whom was also the senior engineer for his previous company for over 17 years.

Our focus is always on customer service.

Every customer is unique. That’s why we customise every one of our plans to fit your needs exactly. Whether it’s a small pump in a garden or a comprehensive multi site application, we’ll listen to your requests and prepare a customised plan. There are no 'one size fits all' when it comes to water & wastewater services. Unlike many operators these days, we do not have 'franchised' engineers, our team is employed directly by us.

We provide a real 24 hour emergency service with real people answering the phone at all times, not a call centre or message service. Engineers will be despatched anytime day or night if you need them, unlike many who say they are 24 hour, only to actually have an answering service and will contact you the next working day.

We will never make promises we cannot keep; we never claim to be the cheapest nor the ‘best in the business’ we are not super human nor infallible. We will, however promise to do the best we possibly can in all situations whether it be advice, service or emergency. We prefer that you, our most important asset, be the judge.

The pump in my garden stopped working so i called my usual company who couldn't fix it, saying i needed a new control panel. I wanted a second opinion and called Gem. The engineer came out and within an hour of him being here it was fixed, he even had the part on the van! ... Thank you for your help.

The water supply failed on our park at 11.00 on a Friday night. Our usual provider said they couldn't get anyone there at that time of night. I called a colleague on another park and he told me to phone these guys. They came straight out and had the system up and running quickly with no fuss. Excellent Service.

We were quoted over £6K to replace a water boosting pump by our provider. The directors of the property asked for a second quotation and I called Gem. The engineers came to site and found it was a controller problem and not a failed pump. They quoted the repair to the controller and carried out the works for less than half of what we had been quoted... 14 months on and it is still working fine.
