Customer advised to replace control panel.

The customers' then service provider advised them that the control panel on this application needed replacement. The customer was quoted quite a considerable amount of money for the works to be carried out.

The customer was confused at the need for the new panel as the one on site was working and questioned the provider. After being given the 'oh its sub-standard and doesn't comply' nonsense, the customer called us for a second opinion.

One of our senior electrical engineers attended site and assessed the panel. His conclusion was that the panel had been poorly repaired over the years and definitely needed attention, but did not need replacement and was far from beyond saving, basically it was just a mess.

The customer asked us to carry out the works needed, at a far reduced cost than a new panel. The system was left fully operational.
