A 50 year old sewage pumping plant refurbished.

Gemtech were asked to assess and tender for the refurbishment of a pumping station after constant breakdowns. The building that the system served was formerly a VAT office for the government, now re-purposed as a medical equipment manufacturing facility.
The customer was specific on their requirements. No submersible pumps and the system had to be refurbished or replaced with the same or very similar equipment.
The original Mono pumps were replaced as there were parts missing on one of them and they were both beyond economical repair. The Haigh macerators were refurbished with new parts and put back into service. 
A new, bespoke control system was installed with an emergency stop station at the pump house door due to the panel being alongside the pumps. The system was commissioned and put back into service. There was no disruption to manufacturing during our works.
